Constitution: basic requirements

Basic requirements for a democratic constitution:

  • Unambiguous: the principles in a constitution should be as clear and precise, as possible, without ambiguity
  • Comprehensible: the principles in a constitution must be comprehensible for the significant majority (>80%) of individuals governed by this constitutional principles
  • Democratically decided: the principles in a democratic constitution must individually be agreed by the individuals governed by this constitutional principles, with a minimum acceptance rate of >66,666%
  • KISS: keep it smart and simple; a constitution is ideally as simple and short as possible; it should only contain those principles, which absolutely need to be declared
