Independence (Wikipedia says): Independence is a condition of a nation, country, or state in which its residents and population, or some portion thereof, exercise self-government, and usually sovereignty, over the territory. The opposite of independence is a dependent territory.
Independency (independence4you.org says): an independency is an organized community of individuals, regulated by an (ideally democratic?) constitution. The joint goal of the individuals in an Independency is, to govern themselves and source services jointly as a community. As such they remain independent from current territorial monopolist political entities such as territorial nations or states, and also from other independencies.
(Basically an independency is a state/nation formed by people with compatible social and economic interests. Their least common denominator as a community is defined in a constitution. They might decide to jointly source services normally provided by classical states. They do not necessarily share a common territory.)
In this section we are planning to list the various independencies which we hope will form on the common, open, public domain platform www.independence4you.org; this is supposed to become the market place for you, to source your provider for the service “state” (join your matching Independency as a citizen).
Ideally, in a future technical evolution of the site (when we have many users and independencies online), we will provide profiling services, to facilitate finding the optimum community/independency for your individual wants and needs.
